New Service - Brazilian Blowout

Ok I decided I need to be better at this blog. I have been focusing so much on my facebook page but now I will do both so I can go more into detail on this blog. So with that said I am super excited to add this new service to my salon! I am starting this thing called the Brazilian Blowout! It is a smoothing treatment that straightens, smooths, adds keratin back into the hair, and eliminates frizz! Who doesn't want that?! I certified for it a couple weeks ago and got my kit and tried it on my first client and was blown away! This is amazing. My client has thick coarse hair and she said it goes frizzy so I tried this treatment on her and it was AMAZING. Her hair felt like silk and it felt like each strand was so smooth. Most salons charge between $200-$300 for this service but I am doing it for $80 for short to medium hair and $90 for long hair and if you want a haircut with it it is only $10 more:) Let me know if you want this amazing service done! 801-259-5690

Favorite Post #6 - Dry Shine

Do you ever get done styling your hair then you look closely and you have all these short fly aways that are sticking straight up on top of your head? This happens to me every day so this dry shine has become my best friend.
Dry Shine is like a pomade but not as heavy as one and a little bit goes a long way. I swear one of these bottles last 8 months to a year on me. You put a tiny bit on your fingers and rub together then smooth your fingers over the fly aways. I also use it on my bangs so they look more styled and out of my face.
I sale this stuff for $24. Like I said it lasts a long time and I seriously can't go without it. Love this stuff!

Favorite Post #5 - High Frequency

This may look a little weird to some people but I love this little machine. When I was going to hair school in Provo we did a service called High Frequency and what you would do was put one of the glass electrodes in the machine, turn it on to what your client can handle and massage their head with it for 15-20 minutes and it would help your hair grow. I noticed a difference when I used it. So when I graduated I bought one of these machines to do on myself and I love it. I feel like it helps my hair grow faster and thicker. I had some thin places in my hair that I would use this on and they would thicken up. You can also use this machine for acne. The machines shocks your scalp and gets the blood circulation to your scalp so that your hair can grow. I am thinking of adding this service to my salon. Let me know what you think. Maybe $10 for 20 minutes? I usually do this about 2 to 3 times a week. You can not do this if your are pregnant though.

Favorite Post #4 - Babyliss

I have had a babyliss flat iron and blow drying for 5 years now and will never get a different brand cause I love these so much. My sweet husband bought me the hot pink set for my birthday. I have another set that I am just going to start to use in my salon now. Babyliss nano is a great brand and I have never had my hair feel so smooth before. The nano technology smooths down the cuticle and it does wonders. I have had Chi's in the past and they have broken on me many times and it gets too hot sometimes that it would fry off my hair. I have never had any problems with this set and you can adjust the heat on the flat iron. This month only they have this hot pink set for $150 which is a killer deal cause just the flat iron is usually that price. Let me know if you want a set and I can get you one before they are sold out.

Favorite Post #3 - Shellac

Shellac is the best invention for nail polish! For Valentines Day my husband got me the shellac kit with a few colors but now every time I go to the beauty store I have to pick up a new color cause I am so obsessed with it. Lately I have been looking at different ways to do your nails with shellac and I have found a lot of layering techniques, french tips, and I bought some chevron stickers in a few different colors to add some designs. They are so much fun and there are so many different things you can do with them. Shellac lasts about 14 days on your finger nails and almost 8 weeks on your toe nails. I offer shellac at my salon for $15 dollars. The pictures below I did on my toes and fingers and with both of those I did the layering technique and that way you can have more color choices.

Favorite Post #2: LiLash

For those of you that like/want eyelash extensions but don't want to damage your lashes then you will love LiLash. I started using it a couple months ago and I had very short brittle lashes and now they are so long and beautiful. I love my lashes and I feel like I have fake lashes on. They have also gotten a lot thicker. I wish I took a before picture of what my lashes looked like cause there is a huge difference right now.
How LiLash works is it is a serum that you put at the root of your lashes once a day and I usually do it when I take off my make up at night. If you want to do it in the morning then don't put any product on your eyes for two minutes after you put the serum on. You will notice a huge difference in 2 days. I am one that loves to try lots of things to make me feel better so I use to wear the strip eyelash extensions and when I would take them off at night they would rip out so many of my natural lashes so this way you keep your natural lashes plus get them thicker and longer. I have had many people say they had to stop using the serum cause their lashes got so long but I keep using it about 3 times a week cause I love it so much and want to keep my lashes long and thick.
I sell LiLash for $120 and it lasts 7 to 8 months. If you would like some let me know and I can get it for you. I promise you won't regret it!
