The final project

I specialize in extensions and they are my favorite thing to do with hair because you can see the biggest change. This is my future sister in law Kelsi and she was wanted her hair longer for her wedding in August. She has never had long hair so it was fun to do this for her. I do bead lock extensions which I have tried all methods and I feel this is healthier than the others and the most natural looking. After doing her hair it makes me want to get extensions too. It was so much fun. Thanks Kels!

My New Salon

I have joined The Hair Garden Salon and will be starting in June. It is such a cute salon. I would love to have you all come to me. I know you will really enjoy it there and love your hair when you leave. Hair is my passion and I love doing it so much. I love the new look most people get from my work and I love to help them understand and know what to do with their hair to keep it healthy and beautiful. This is my friend Ashlee and she is the sweetest girl. It was so much fun to do her hair. We ended up cutting it twice because she was a little scared at first to go super short and after we cut it the first time she wanted it shorter. She has never had her hair this short in her life. I think it looks great on her and she looks like such a cute mom. The hair cut we did on her was a slight A-line with lots of layers in the back and a few layers on the side. We trimmed her bangs and razored them so they didn't lay thick on her forehead. The color we used was a 5 and 6 n mixed to create a medium brown. Thanks again Ash for letting me do your hair.

These are my friends Kayla and Alyssa. I know I say this everytime but I love doing their hair because they always do something really different everytime. This is the most drastic that I have done their hair. With Alyssa's hair she wanted more blonde throughout so we weaved through chunky blonde with some red and brown so it all blends well and she was wanting it pretty short with a drastic A-line. We cut it into an A-line and put a bunch of chunky layers throughout. With Kaylas hair as you can tell we took her from blonde to brown. We used 4 and 5n mixed and put through some chunks of blonde and red throughout. We then cut her hair into a drastic A-line. It was a fun day with them and I enjoyed doing their hair and seeing the big change.

This is my father in law Tim and he has had the same hairstyle for probably the past 30 years. He came to me last week and said he wanted a change and he has really been getting sick of the style and how it lays. His hair naturally wants to go forward so we decided to cut it into a messy look that all goes forward so he wouldn't have to fight with his hair. He also never wears gel so we went and purchased him some gel and taught him how to do his hair this way. I think it looks great and I hope he keeps it this way for a while.
